Sick and tired of being typecast, Nasim Pedrad created and pitched a comedy show named Chad. Fox picked the project but dropped it in August 2016. The network will be regretting that decision as Chad has become a hit on TBS, which has renewed the series for a second season.
Pedrad, who is approaching 40, plays a 14-year-old named Chad who struggles with adolescence and adult responsibilities. The show often skates the line between cringe and funny, but overall, provides tons of comedy joy. Nasim Pedrad will surely not be typecast anymore.
This piece will look at Nasim’s personal life. We can confirm that Pedrad isn’t married.
Nasim keeps her private life away from the public eye
Nasim has been a celebrity for more than a decade, but she has stealthily kept her private life away from the public.
She is rarely the subject of dating rumors, and hasn’t been linked to any celebrities.
Nasim met her dad for the first time when she immigrated to the US at the age of 3
Nasim Pedrad was born on 18th November 1981 in Tehran to Arasteh Amani and Parviz Pedrad. Nasim’s dad lived in the United States when Nasim was born. Due to immigration technicalities, Nasim moved to the United States when she was 3. She told Conan that it was the first time that she met her father.
Nasim considers herself an American, but she has strong connections to Iran. She has family in Iran, she speaks Farsi, and she loves Iranian food. Nasim told Iran Times:
“Most of my memories start from when I was in the states, but I do want to visit Iran someday. My dad’s side of the family is still in Iran – there are so many cousins I have yet to meet. My parents really encouraged my little sister and I to take Farsi classes when we were little.”
